I love old postcards.

Two here from Hot Springs back in the day. Hot Springs is in Garland County, and was home to several of my relatives from southern Arkansas.


Central Avenue, Hot Springs - card never mailed


Arlington Hotel, on Central Avenue - postally used 1913

And Little Rock in 1908. I wish Center Street still looked like this today.

Love old photographs. What a beautiful town - the matching red/white striped awnings are very pretty.

Governor's Mansion

The Little Rock postcard is looking south from 16th street. Today that look's directly at the Governor's Mansion, which is built on the site of the former School for the Blind. If you Google "Little Rock School for the Blind" and look at the images, you can find an image of the old building. -Heather
