I have no idea who the other guys are, or where the photo was taken.
Or why they are wearing guns...or if they were really left-handed.

No, but he worked for the Postal Service. I understand from old family stories that sometimes they were armed when they went to remote areas.
I'm wondering if this photo isn't more about clowning. I am pretty sure Granddaddy was right handed...

I wish I knew the story behind this photo. One thing is for sure, he did like to clown around - and I'm pretty sure he was right handed too. Maybe someone deputized him or something. It is a cool picture though.
