This was the M R Craig Meat Market, before the devastating fire of 16 Jan 1906, that destroyed many businesses in downtown Russellville, AR.

That's an interesting old photo. I'm glad we no longer have to see such vivid reminders of where meat comes from.

I wonder if the men with their hats are customers selecting their meats or inspectors. The butchers appear to be at attention.
