Hell yes, I vote. I made my mom take me to the courthouse to register on my 18th birthday. *g*
I have ancestors in the US going back to the 1600s on one side, and back to WWI on the other. Lots of veterans, including one who committed suicide later in life due to intense and incurable pain from injuries he suffered during the war in which he fought. The ones I knew as a child are the same folks who taught me what citizenship is.
