I agree with everything you and others have said about Mocavo.com!
I took time out this past weekend to use the search engine and I must say that I did not locate any relevant African American information that I could use for my family research.
I noticed how Mr. Shaw kept inviting those who found his search engine lacking over to contribute to his project -- LOL! Nice try Mr. Shaw, but I don't think so! BUT, I do applaud him for wanting to launch a premiere genealogy search engine like no other. But what I will say is that instead of trying to get end-users to contribute to his database, he and his research team and developers need to return to the drawing board and improve on what he envisions is a genealogy search engine like no other!
