What a great old photo - look at the distance between the boys' feet and the stirrup, they must have felt very high up on that horse. You can just see a couple of faint figures watching from the porch :-) Jo

That horse looks so very, very tall! (Or the man holding the horse is short?) The porch on the house in the background is very nice. And I'm wondering about the climate in November, wondering where this was taken. It must have been in the south? Great photograph!

I really like seeing the family standing out front proudly showing their horse. I really like the designs on the porch. I don't think I have ever seen any detailing like that before now. Great.
