As a twin, I found your entry touching. Sorry that Maggie and Madgie didn't have dissimilar names to emphasize that they were individuals, not simply two halves of one person :) But I know the fashion in those days was to name twins with similar names (my mother was Daisy and her twin was Dorothy).
