Genealogy Bank can be frustrating sometimes. They have access to probably 30 some-odd states' newspapers. Obit access is for "new," I think from 1986 or so, forward obits.

But the subscription fee is a one-time $55.95 for a year, so that's good enough. I really work it...

I love Footnote. In addition to finding stuff - they have an excellent database of Civil War files for many, many states - you can also create Footnote pages to get more information out there on your relatives.

I'm kind of standing back and watching to see how their new collaboration with consumption by Ancestry is going to work out.
