Sentimental Sunday: The ledge at 808 Crittenden Street

This one was inspired by my cousin...

Guess who's on the ledge?

George Washington Burris, Jr., in 1954...

My dad, about 1941/42...

Louise Herrington Burris, in 1978...

Louise Burris, and her daughter Jean, on Louise's birthday in 1978...They weren't technically "on the ledge," but they were very close to it...

And could it be? Why yes, I think it is moi, probably about 1974...

It's so fun to find a common thread through miscellanceous photographs and post them together. This was a nice view over the span of many years. Is the house still in the possession of family?

No, after Grandma died, it was sold.

And it has been sold several times since then. I did another post about it in later years at the end of one about my grandmother, here. (http://dee-burris.livejournal.com/22593.html)
