I've tracked my McBrayers back to about 1790-1800 in Rutherford and Cleveland counties in North Carolina.

Here's the link to Samuel McBrayer in my online family tree. His great grandson, Robert Bruce McBrayer, married my great grandmother, Julia Ann Callaway. (I descend from Julia's second marriage to Jasper Monroe Herrington after Robert's death.)

Hunt around in it. You may find some common relatives.
