What a wonderful story of Grandmother. My memories of the house on Crittenden are some of the best of my childhood - do you remember wandering over to the bank uptown, running up to the teller window, ringing the bell and running off? My brother put me up to that on more than one occasion. So many memories. How about Chinese Checkers? And those beautiful porcelain cats by the fireplace. I think those cats really are molding in the attic of one of our crazy aunts.
