When my last haunted coffeemaker bit the dust, I hauled out the percolator, which I've kept for power outages.
I was using it, and it was working just fine. One of my sisters came to see me, and about had heart failure.
Showed back up a few days later with a Black and Decker programmable.
Just like the haunted coffeemakers of recent years past.
The first time it did not come on as programmed, I told her
that story.
