I looked at these photos a day or two ago and forgot to comment. I love the identical glasses on the couple in the first photo. Both husband wife look very serious. I wonder if you know anything about their personalities. I can imagine him being a tease.

Sadly, both of them died decades before I was born, and my dad was just a baby when Mary died. So I have no one to go to for first hand knowledge, although I know my grandfather, George Washington Burris, Jr., was very close to his mom from a couple of letters we found after his death.

And GW Burris Jr., our grandfather, was a real card - teased my grandmother mercilessly.
